Jumping on the Bunnywagon

Since the last one didn't really count because it's absolutely ridiculous, this makes a little more sense for the average human.

Now that Mad Men has reached "So Hot Right Now" status, everyone is bandwagoning to ride the Emmy-laden wave of TV/advertising glory. This collaboration seems to make sense though...
The boys of the AMC series are appearing in a spread in Playboy this month. Not much of a stretch here, it looks like an agency trip to L.A.

One Month Off

Decided to finally instill some sort of theme here. Due to the genius name of this blog, I'm going to dedicate the posts to the title. You'll soon see what I mean.

Today, you get style. Or the lack of it. Unless you've never heard or used the internet before, you know about this. But, of course, Scott's eye for style leaves a few in the cold

Yes, there really are people out there who think this is okay.

France's finest...

twenty something bloggers

I just submitted a "request" to be in a group about people who aren't that old who have blogs. I epically half assed the form (I assumed it was predetermined that I was in this group since I have a couple of blogs and I'm 22) so I'm hoping that they look past that and let me in.

And if they don't - "I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member."

another photo stolen from ffffound. thanks.

It's only August, but it feels like fall is already here. Funny how cold 70 feels after you have it a little hotter. Guess it's the same feeling when you adjust to new levels of anything, backward progress always leaves you wanting more.

Comcast finally responded today. Definitely a change since the article came out in NYT.
Previously I had someone the next day, this time it took a little longer, but they were thorough and got things right. The hat remains off.

Comcast Cares

So I'm sure that you've already read this. And by now you know about Twitter. And I'm sure you've more than likely had problems with these guys in the past. But this guy is making it all better.

I discovered this by accident. Fed up with Comcast and sick of getting no answers from the company phone lines when my Internet (and cable, but honestly, who cares) went out for three days during finals week last spring. If it wasn't my senior year, this would've been a much bigger problem, but it was still a pain nonetheless.

After ranting a bit on Twitter from my BlackBerry (on the web, not via text) I realized that someone named @comcastcares was trying to contact me. I was skeptical but lo and behold...it actually worked. I had a personal rep from Comcast call me daily and make sure things were accomplished. I had @comcastcares checking in with me via Twitter. Long story short: after three days of frustration with Comcast, this service fixed everything in a day.

This was before the hype of the article above. I just got a letter saying my account was in collections (cancelled it when I moved out of East Lansing). Sent an @ to comcastcares and they were on it within minutes. Now lets see if they can deliver the same service again...
