So I'm sure that you've already read
this. And by now you know about
Twitter. And I'm sure you've more than likely had problems with
these guys in the past. But
this guy is making it all better.
I discovered this by accident. Fed up with Comcast and sick of getting no answers from the company phone lines when my Internet (and cable, but honestly, who cares) went out for three days during finals week last spring. If it wasn't my senior year, this would've been a much bigger problem, but it was still a pain nonetheless.
After ranting a bit on Twitter from my BlackBerry (on the web, not via text) I realized that someone named @comcastcares was trying to contact me. I was skeptical but lo and behold...it actually worked. I had a personal rep from Comcast call me daily and make sure things were accomplished. I had @comcastcares checking in with me via Twitter. Long story short: after three days of frustration with Comcast, this service fixed everything in a day.
This was before the hype of the article above. I just got a letter saying my account was in collections (cancelled it when I moved out of East Lansing). Sent an @ to comcastcares and they were on it within minutes. Now lets see if they can deliver the same service again...
